Fundraising workshops for St Margaret’s church, Millington will be held in Millington Village Hall.

All materials provided and beginners very welcome.

Please bring a packed lunch with you.

JOYFUL ART Afternoon Christian workshop in Millington

Thursday 17th May 2.00pm-4.00pm

THEME: Christian symbolism of flowers

– This is a regular monthly workshop open to all. Come and meet new friends and get inspiration for using art and craft for your faith study. All materials and refreshments are  provided. Small voluntary donation towards the cost of materials is welcome but not compulsory. For more information contact Joy via this website.

If you have been to a Joyful Art workshop then your work may be on display – do come along and see a church full of ‘visual prayers’ – free cards for you to pick up.

Joyful Art ‘Autumn’ Workshops 

Trees in the Churchyard. – Celebrating God’s creation in paint and prayer.

Saturday 17th September  10.30am- 3.30pm  @ Millington Village Hall

Using Brusho watercolour paint learn how to paint trees and leaves. Learn different techniques to show different textures and fine details on leaves. Use leaf shapes to create your own painting.

Maximum of 10 people so please book early. Beginners welcome.

£25 each to include all materials and refreshments and light lunch ( soup & roll)

Countdown to Christmas — Design your own Christmas card.

Saturday 15th October 10.30am – 3.30pm  @ Millington Village Hall

Using Brusho watercolour paint to design and paint a personalised Christmas card. Joy will show you how to convert a photograph of your painting into your own Christmas card image which can be printed by you or by a commercial printing company.

Maximum of 10 people so please book early. Beginners welcome.

The Wonderful Wolds Landscape – Celebrating God’s creation in paint and prayer

Saturday 20th August    10.30am – 3.30pm  @ Millington Village Hall

Learn how to plan and paint a real or imagined landscape. Using Brusho watercolour paint try out  different techniques to show texture and detail in the landscape.

Maximum of 10 people so please book early. Beginners welcome.
